Elliot) Keay is a small tree of 3e6 m of height found in the tropical rain forest (Berhaut, 1971; Letouzey, 1972). It is used in the traditional medicine for the treatment of various infectious diseases (Berhaut, 1971; Burkill, 1985). The stem bark of this plant was collected in Makenene, Centre Province of Cameroon in December 2003.
